Eufora Frequently Asked Questions
In an effort to answer your questions as quickly as possible, we have included below a list of the most commonly asked questions about the Eufora Program.
Effective January 1, 2005:
- Is there a limit to how many referrals I can get?
NO. There is no limit.
- Can I keep my Eufora Prepaid MasterCard®, but not be a part of the Eufora Program?
YES. You can keep your Eufora MasterCard and it is not necessary to solicit others to join the Eufora Program. However, as a Eufora MasterCard cardholder, you must pay your annual Membership Fee and maintain your Eufora MasterCard in good standing.
- Can I cancel my Eufora MasterCard, but still participate in the Eufora Program?
NO. Members are required to maintain a Eufora MasterCard in good standing as a condition of membership. However, you are free not to use your card and simply maintain a zero balance. If you prefer not to have your Annual Membership Fee automatically charged to your Eufora Prepaid MasterCard account, you may send in a check or money order prior to 30 days before your membership expires and avoid this charge.
- What if I do not have sufficient funds available on my Eufora Prepaid MasterCard when I am automatically charged for my Membership Fee?
You will receive several notifications via e-mail reminding you of your membership expiration date. This notice will inform you that your Membership Fee is due and that you need to load funds onto your Eufora Prepaid MasterCard account to accept the automatic billing of your Membership Fee. If you do not load funds to your Eufora Prepaid MasterCard in order to charge the Membership Fee, prior to your expiration date, you will be removed from the Eufora Program, and all of your unpaid referral fees will be retained by Eufora.
- What if I do not have sufficient funds available on my Eufora Prepaid MasterCard when I am automatically charged for my annual Membership Fee?
You will receive a notice via e-mail, two months prior to your membership expiration date. This notice will inform you that your Membership Fee is due and that you need to deposit the necessary funds into your Prepaid MasterCard account to accept the automatic billing of your Membership Fee. If you do not deposit the necessary funds or do not submit a check to Eufora prior to your expiration date, you will be removed from the Eufora Program, and all of your unpaid referral fees will be retained by Eufora.
- How do I get paid?
Eufora will deposit your referral fees electronically into your Eufora MasterCard account on the last day of the following quarter for the previous quarter's approved applications.
- How often do I get paid?
Eufora Members will be paid on the last day of the following quarter for the previous quarter's approved applications.
- How long do I get paid?
As long as you and your valid Referrals continue to renew their Eufora Memberships and maintain their Eufora Prepaid MasterCard in good standing, you will get paid year after year.
- What if my referral signs up in July and the membership expires next July?
It does not matter in which month a referral signs up. All referrals will only be counted for that quarter.
- Do I lose all of my referrals if one of my referrals does not pay his/her Eufora Membership Fee or does not maintain their Eufora MasterCard in good standing?
NO. You will only lose the referrals that do not pay their Eufora Membership Fee or do not maintain their Eufora MasterCard in good standing.
- Do I lose all of my referrals if I do not pay my Membership Fee?
YES, you must pay your annual Eufora Membership Fee.
- Do I lose all of my referrals if I do not pay my MasterCard bills?
YES. You must maintain your Eufora MasterCard account in good standing.
- If the Member that referred me cancels his/her Eufora membership or Eufora MasterCard, do I lose my membership, my Eufora MasterCard or my referrals?
NO. As long as you pay your annual Eufora Membership Fee and maintain your Eufora MasterCard in good standing, you will not lose your membership or your Eufora MasterCard. You will only lose referrals if you, or your referrals, do not pay the annual Eufora Membership Fee or do not maintain their Eufora MasterCard in good standing.
- What is considered "In good standing?"
A Member's account is "in good standing" if that Member has abided by all Eufora Terms and Conditions and any Fees and Disclosures of the issuing bank of their Eufora Card.
- What if I, or one of my referrals, forget to enter the Referral Code or enter the wrong code?
It is each Member's and Referral's responsibility to ensure that the proper Referral Code is used when applying for a Eufora membership and MasterCard. However, if the referral code is incorrect you may correct the Referral Code within 30 days of the date that Eufora received the Membership application.
- If I do not maintain my account in good standing or if I quit the Eufora Program, can I ever return and what happens to my referrals?
You may re-apply at any time for a Eufora MasterCard. However, you will lose all your referrals at the time you leave the Eufora Program.
- Can I get a joint card account and Eufora Card for my spouse?
No. Secondary cards are not available at this time. Only one Eufora Prepaid Card may be issued for a social security number. Those wanting to get a card must apply with their own personal information.
- Do I receive any income from my referrals' referrals?
NO. Eufora Members will only receive a referral fee for the applicants they refer directly to Eufora.
- Is the Eufora Program a Multi-Level Marketing Program or Pyramid Scheme?
NO. Eufora's Marketing Program is based entirely on direct referrals.
- Are there any methods of marketing or advertising Eufora that I am prohibited from doing?
YES. Eufora does NOT permit anyone to:
- Use the Eufora Program for any purpose, in connection with anything that is inappropriate, a violation of applicable laws or regulations, or prohibited by these terms, conditions, and notices.
- Create, use or otherwise promote a false identity for the purpose of misleading others, including but not limited to the submission of fraudulent applications.
- Create, facilitate, or participate with any person or entity in a Multi-level Marketing Program using the Eufora Program, or any of its products.
- Use any unauthorized incentive programs to help sell the Eufora Card. For example, Members may not offer the consumer anything (coupons, free trips, etc.) in exchange for applying for Eufora membership or a Eufora Card.
- Publish, post, upload, distribute or disseminate any inappropriate, profane, defamatory, obscene, indecent or unlawful topic, name, material or information in connection with the Eufora Affiliate Program and its products and services. For example, Members may not place Eufora banner ads on pornographic websites.
- Market, solicit, or otherwise communicate about the Eufora Card or Eufora Affiliate Program using any broadcast media or channels including, but not limited to, television, cable, satellite, radio, billboards and telemarketing.
- Reproduce any Eufora marketing materials in whole or in part. This includes but is not limited to Eufora Brochure/Applications and Eufora Marketing cards.
- Use the Eufora Program in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or otherwise impair any Eufora Program or sponsored services (or the network(s) connected to the Eufora Program) or interfere with any other party's use of the Eufora Program. Members may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any Eufora Program site/service, other accounts, computer systems or networks connected to the Eufora Program or sponsored service, through hacking, password mining or any other means. Members may not obtain or attempt to obtain any materials or information through any means not intentionally made available through the Eufora Affiliate Program.
- Use any material or information, including images or photographs, that in any manner that infringes any copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or other proprietary right of any party.
- Use the Eufora Program in connection with surveys, contests, pyramid schemes, chain letters, junk email, spamming or any duplicative or unsolicited messages (commercial or otherwise).
- Engage in any "spamming" activity involving a) sending unsolicited E-mail to persons with whom you have no relationship and/or who have not requested your information; or b) posting off-topic announcements on message boards or elsewhere. All "spam" messages which reference the Eufora.com domain are forwarded directly to our attention. The "spammer" will be removed from the Eufora Program, and all of that Member's referral fees will be retained by Eufora.
- Defame, abuse, harass, stalk, threaten or otherwise violate the legal rights (such as rights of privacy and publicity) of others.
- Am I an employee of Eufora and will I have to pay taxes on the money that I earn?
Your relationship with Eufora is one of an independent contractor. It is your responsibility to report any Eufora referral fees (income) on your tax return.
- What are the differences between the Associate, Preferred, and Elite Eufora Cards?
Each level of membership has different benefits, please see the Benefits page for more information.
- Do I have to be an Elite Member to receive Elite level referral fees?
YES. Only Elite Members qualify for the Elite level referral fees.
- If I am an Elite Member, do I receive Preferred level referrals?
YES. As an Elite Member you are eligible to receive all levels of referral fees.
- Do I have to be a Preferred Member to receive Preferred level referral fees?
YES. You must be at least a Preferred Member to receive Preferred level referrals fees. Elite Members also qualify for Preferred level referrals.
- Can I get a Preferred or Elite Eufora Card by bringing in referrals?
NO. The only way to receive a Preferred or an Elite level Eufora Card is by wanting the additional benefits of a Preferred or Elite Eufora Card and paying the appropriate Membership Fees for those benefits.
- Do I get a Preferred or Elite Eufora Card for maintaining good credit history on my Associate card?
NO. The only way to receive a Preferred or an Elite level Eufora Card is by wanting the additional benefits of a Preferred or Elite Eufora Card and paying the appropriate Membership Fees for those benefits.
- What if I am an Associate Member and I refer someone that applies as a Preferred or Elite Member?
If you are an Associate Member then you are only entitled to Associate level referral fees. However if your referral applies at a higher level, Eufora will contact you and give you the option to increase your membership level. Eufora will allow you thirty (30) days to increase your membership level for the following year.
- Do I earn more money if I am an Associate Member that is referring Preferred or Elite Members?
NO. You must be a Preferred or Elite Member to receive Preferred level referral fees. You must be an Elite Member to receive Elite level referral fees.
- If I am an Associate Member, and I refer somebody at the Associate level but they later switch to a higher level on their own, do I receive any more income?
You will be notified that your referral has chosen to increase their level of membership. You may then choose to upgrade your membership for the following year. If you choose to upgrade, you will receive the higher level benefits and referral fees for the following year.
- Can I return to a lower level of membership if I do not want to continue as a Preferred or Elite Member?
If you have already agreed to upgrade your membership at your next renewal, you cannot choose to downgrade until you have paid the renewal fee. If you have not committed to upgrade your membership, you may downgrade your membership at any time. However, you will no longer be eligible for the higher-level benefits and referral fees.
- Can I have more than one Eufora card account?
NO. You may only have one Eufora card account per Social Security Number.
- What is Eufora Mobile Banking?
Eufora Mobile Banking allows Members to keep track of their account status by sending text messages to Eufora. You can take advantage of this great program for only $9.99* per month for unlimited alerts ($6.99 per month for Cricket and Boost users for 30 alerts), Message and data rates may apply. The Eufora Mobile Banking program is conveniently billed to your mobile phone each month.
