In an effort to answer your questions as quickly as possible, we have included below a list of the most commonly asked questions about the Eufora Prepaid MasterCard.
  • How do I load funds onto my Eufora Prepaid MasterCard?
    • Online
    • To load funds online using your existing checking or savings account, please go to www.EuforaPrepaid.com and log in using your card number and your password (last 4 digits of your social security number). Funds may take up to 7 business days to become available. The maximum Load Value using a checking or savings account is $300 per pending transaction. The maximum balance the Eufora Prepaid MasterCard can carry at any one time is $5000.

      Please note: We are unable to accept BillPay value loads. Value loads received via this method will be returned.
    • Mail
    • For money order value loads, please make it payable to Eufora and mail it to the address below. Please include your full name on the money order. For faster processing, you can also include your application id or the last 8 digits of your card number. However, your card number is not required to load funds by mail as long as your full name is noted on the money order. The maximum Load Value using a money order is $5000. The maximum balance the Eufora Prepaid MasterCard can carry at any one time is $5000.

      Please note: we are unable to process personal checks or checks created by a bill payment service at the address below. Log into your Card Account at www.EuforaPrepaid.com to request a value load from your personal checking or savings account. 3rd party checks are not accepted online or by mail. Any personal checks, bill payment service checks or 3rd party checks received will be returned.

      Please use the instructions above to load funds using a personal check. Funds received via money order will be processed upon receipt of the funds and available 24-48 business hours from the date received.

    • Direct Deposit
    • Load your Eufora Prepaid MasterCard directly from your employer's payroll. You can have up to $5000.00 or any fixed amount of your pay, automatically loaded on this Eufora Card. The maximum balance the Eufora Card can carry at any one time is $5000.

      To process a request for payroll-value loads, please log into your Card Account at www.EuforaPrepaid.com. Once logged in, click the "Load Money to Card" option and select 'Payroll Direct Deposit' for complete instructions.

      Please contact your employer's payroll department directly for the time frames associated with processing this request.
  • Are there limits on how much money I can put on the Eufora Prepaid MasterCard?
    There is no minimum balance required. However, each Value Load must be at least $5. There is limit of 4 value loads, using the various methods to load funds, each day. For security purposes, Value Loads are limited to one pending transaction at a time (up to $300) from an existing checking or savings through the internet (at www.EuforaPrepaid.com). You may also send us a Money Order. The maximum Load Value using a money order is $5000. The maximum balance the Eufora Prepaid MasterCard can carry at any one time is $5000.
  • Is there a limit to how much cash I can withdraw?
    Yes. There is a $910 cash withdrawal and ATM limit within a 24-hour period.

    How do I get more funds than $910?

    Cash withdrawals and ATM transactions are limited to $910 in a 24-hour period. However, it is possible to visit a United States Post Office and request a money order using your Eufora Prepaid MasterCard. Your PIN number will be required. Click Here to find out how to get your PIN.
  • Is the Eufora Prepaid MasterCard a credit card?
    No, it's a Prepaid MasterCard with the MasterCard debit hologram. It carries a balance when you deposit cash through a "Value Load." When you use your Eufora Card, the amount of each transaction, including any applicable fees, is deducted from your balance.
  • Where can I use the Eufora Prepaid MasterCard?
    Use it everywhere MasterCard debit cards are accepted. With acceptance at millions of locations worldwide, no payment card is more widely accepted globally than MasterCard.
  • Is the Eufora Prepaid MasterCard safe?
    The Eufora Prepaid MasterCard is a prepaid card so when you make a purchase requiring a signature, the merchant will verify the signed receipt against your signature on the back of your Eufora Card. You also have the safety of a personal PIN for ATM withdrawals and purchases. Plus, if the Eufora Prepaid MasterCard is lost, you are not losing cash or putting your checking or savings account at risk.
  • My statement shows I was charged more for a transaction than I should have been. Why?
    There are times when there may be a variance between the amount a merchant authorizes your Eufora Prepaid MasterCard for and the amount that they actually charged to it.

    It is an industry standard practice for a merchant to run an authorization prior to actually running a sale through on your MasterCard. That authorization may be a higher dollar amount than the actual charge. For example, most restaurants will take your Eufora Prepaid MasterCard from the table and come back to let you sign the receipt and add a tip. They may authorize up to 30% more to cover that tip. Hotels, car rental agencies and gas stations typically authorize more to cover any additional costs you incur while on their property or driving their car. Please use your Eufora Prepaid MasterCard to pay for the transaction. The Eufora Prepaid MasterCard may not be used to hold the reservation only.

    Once the settlement is transmitted by the merchant (usually within a few days of the transaction) or the authorization times out (may be up to 30 business days), your account balance and statement will be adjusted accordingly. Any overage associated with the original authorization will be returned to your Card Account.
  • Is there an annual fee for the Eufora Prepaid MasterCard?
    Only the Eufora Annual Membership Fee (See Affiliate Program)
  • Are there fees for ATM withdrawals?
    There is a $2.00 fee for ATM withdrawals and a $1.00 fee for an ATM balance inquiry. You may also incur ATM surcharges from the owner of the ATM machine.
  • When making a purchase or using an ATM to make a cash withdrawal from my Eufora Prepaid MasterCard, do I select "CREDIT" or "DEBIT"?
    In most cases, when making a purchase or using an ATM to withdraw cash from your Eufora Prepaid MasterCard, please select the "CREDIT" option. Although your Eufora Prepaid MasterCard is not a credit card, the ATM processing network recognizes your Eufora Prepaid MasterCard as a credit card rather than a debit card. You may also select the "DEBIT" option if necessary.
  • How do I activate my PIN?
    Please call 1-866-785-0860 to activate your PIN via our automated system. For security purposes, never write your PIN on your Eufora Card. Please check our Fees and Disclosures for charges that may apply.
  • Can I select my own PIN?
    No. However, once activated, you may change your PIN. To change your PIN please go to www.EuforaPrepaid.com and log in using your card number and your passcode (last 4 digits of your social security number). Please check our Fees and Disclosures for charges that may apply.
  • What if the Eufora Prepaid MasterCard is lost, stolen or damaged?
    As long as you immediately report any problems or a lost or stolen Eufora Prepaid MasterCard to our Customer Service department, you will not be responsible for any unauthorized transactions. There will be a fee of $9.95 for each replacement Eufora Prepaid MasterCard.
  • What happens if I need to return an item?
    Each merchant has its own return policies and will handle returns in the same manner as any other MasterCard Card transaction. The merchant may credit your Eufora Prepaid MasterCard, provide a cash refund or issue a store credit.
  • Can I use the Eufora Prepaid MasterCard for a rental car or hotel room transaction?
    Please contact the merchant directly for their authorization and acceptance policies for MasterCard Prepaid Cards.

    The Eufora Prepaid MasterCard is generally accepted anywhere that MasterCard debit cards are accepted. However, if you use your Eufora Prepaid MasterCard for reservations, please be aware that these merchants may authorize up to 20 percent more than your anticipated charges, if authorization is provided. This amount is held until you check out or return your car and the funds will not be available to you for other transactions until the sale is completed. Please use your Eufora Prepaid MasterCard to pay for the transaction. The Eufora Prepaid MasterCard may not be used to hold the reservation only.

    Also, please be aware that some merchants - for example, restaurants, gas stations, mail-order companies and cruise lines - require the card to have a minimum balance that exceeds the purchase amount to ensure sufficient funds for tips or incidental expenses. However, only the actual amount spent will be deducted from the card when the transaction is settled by the merchant.
  • How can I check my balance and Card Account activity?
    You can review your balance and transaction activity free of charge by logging into your Card Account from the Eufora Prepaid Site (www.EuforaPrepaid.com) Or, for a fee of $0.50 per call, you can call our automated toll-free number at 1-866-785-0860. You can request that a statement be mailed to you for a fee of $1 per request, which is deducted from your Eufora Prepaid MasterCard balance. You can also speak to a Customer Service Representative for FREE.
  • Can the Eufora Prepaid MasterCard ever have a negative balance?
    Any MasterCard or Cirrus® authorization request that is greater than your Eufora Prepaid MasterCard Card's available balance will be declined. However, there can be times when a merchant puts an item through without authorization. This could cause a negative balance on your Card Account. If an overdraft occurs, you may be notified to load more funds onto the Eufora Prepaid MasterCard to cover the negative amount. In addition, you will be charged an overdraft fee of $29.
  • Does the Eufora Prepaid MasterCard have an expiration date?
    Your Eufora Prepaid MasterCard is good for one year from the date of first activation, so long as you maintain a balance of zero dollars or greater.

    However, if your Eufora Prepaid MasterCard has a negative balance for greater than 30 days, then your Eufora Prepaid MasterCard and Membership will be subject to cancellation. Once your Eufora Prepaid MasterCard and Membership have been cancelled, renewal can only be done by sending a value load to cover the original negative balance on the Eufora Prepaid MasterCard plus a $9.95 Replacement Fee.
  • How can I remove funds to close the Card Account?
    There are two ways. You can withdraw the funds at an ATM. Please remember that ATM's can only dispense funds in certain denominations and any ATM transaction fees and surcharges will apply. Or for a $9.95 balance reimbursement fee, you can remove funds by calling Customer Service. Please allow 30 days from the time of your request for your reimbursement check to arrive.
